After 21 games UCAM-Murcia are yet to be beaten! But another draw today meant their lead, which was 7 points, is now only 4 over Cadiz who play their game tomorrow.
EDIT.... mixed fortunes for our other 2. A win for Cartagena but La Hoya lose again.

WHAT'S HAPPENED TO JOSE RUBEN?
Since moving to Bala Azul at the start of this season our one time 'goal machine' has scored just 4 goals all season, maybe no the best of moves Jose?
I can only find one game that he has missed through suspension, that was down to the accumulation of 5 yellow cards.

I can only find one game that he has missed through suspension, that was down to the accumulation of 5 yellow cards. Well, he's certainly playing. He played and scored last weekend when BA beat the Preferente leaders Lorca - who just happened to have a certain Cuenca in the team. BALA AZUL 2 LORCA 1 BA...Turco, Rojo,Junior, Sito, Mejías, Alexis, Viñate (Jesús), Villa,Javi, José Rubén (Pablo) y Chino (Anas). L.....Míchel, Cuenca, José Antonio (Luismi), Adrián (Pele), Robles, Lorca, Adis Santana, Juan Daniel, Chicho, Asensio (Agus) y Rafa Soriano. 0-1: m. 19, Robles. 1-1: m. 44, José Rubén. 2-1: m. 50, Javi.

EDIT.... mixed fortunes for our other 2. A win for Cartagena but La Hoya lose again. The Cadiz game was postponed as the pitch was 'unfit' - not sure why! So the gap stayed at 4 points. This week, unsurprisingly, the Murcian derby was won by UCAM (3-0). Cadiz also won this week, so the gap is STILL 4 points. La Hoya lost again and surely look doomed to return to the Tercera.

SEGUNDA B - GROUP 4
UCAM-Murcia suffer their first loss of the season at third from bottom Cordoba 'B'! And with Cadiz putting 5 past Marbella, the gap is down to one point at the top - and Cadiz have that postponed game in hand!
Meanwhile at the other end of the table, La Hoya put one over on Cartagena and have dragged them near to the drop zone.
With only FIVE points covering the bottom half of the table, there is definitely going to be a relegation dog-fight come the end of the season.

The Cordoba 'B' team doing well against our locals.....
La Hoya Lorca CF 0 - 2 Córdoba CF B
UD Melilla 3 - 2 FC Cartagena
UCAM-Murcia play later - Sunday.
EDIT:.....UCAM and Cadiz both win so UCAM stay 1 point ahead.

Cadiz won their game in hand last week and, to add insult to injury, they then triumphed 1-0 over UCAM on Sunday which means from being 7 points clear, UCAM are now 5 points BEHIND in second place.
Surprise, surprise....La Hoya picked up 3 points away at Villanovense, but that was not enough to move them out of the relegation zone. Meanwhile, FC Cartagena picked up their first point in four games but are also still firmly in the bottom four.
Things are not looking good for the Murcia teams at either end of the table.

Wow....UCAM win and La Hoya do them a favour by holding Cadiz to a draw!
A good point for La Hoya and the UCAM-Cadiz gap is now down to 3 points.
FC Cartagena lost again!

Sunday 1st.....a good week for all our teams - 3 wins. But Cadiz win too so the gap at the top is still 3 points.

Sunday 8th.....a complete reversal from last week. All our teams lose!
But Cadiz win and are now steadily pulling away at the top. At the end of last year, UCAM-Murcia were 7 points clear at the top. But it's Cadiz who now have a 6 point advantage.
And La Hoya and Cartagena can't get away from the drop zone. But, with only 7 points covering the bottom HALF of the table, they just need a win or two to leap up several places.

14th/15th March and Cartagena come from behind to surprise us all with a 2-1 victory which lifts them right out of the relegation places.
EDIT: And, would you believe it, La Hoya and UCAM-Murcia win too. Good news for all three. But the la Hoya win means they leap-frog Cartagena and push them back in the mire. However, with Cadiz surprisingly losing at home to 12th place Sevilla 'B', the gap at the top comes down to 3 points.

Sat 21st....oh dear, UCAM Murcia are smashed at home 1-4 by 4th placed Granada 'B' whilst Cadiz get an easy 2-0 win to move 6 points clear.
EDIT: another win for La Hoya, but Cartagena lose out.

28th/29th....Like Real Murcia, UCAM Murcia are losing touch with the top spot. A goal-less draw against the second bottom team, while Cadiz pick up all 3 points. Gap up to 8 points.
But La Hoya Lorca are on a roll....3 wins in a row lifts them to 11th place. Cartagena also win, but with only 3 points covering positions 12 to 19 they're still in danger.
