With Real Murcia still plying their trade in Segunda 'B', UCAM-Murcia are now the leading football club in the region.
Their first game gets the Monday-Night-Football treatment as they are away at Zaragoza tonight. (Are you watching José?)
At half-time, though, the score is;
Real Zaragoza 3-0 UCAM Murcia CF.
A 93rd minute penalty wasn't enough to save UCAM-Murcia from a 3-1 defeat.

UCAM-Murcia 1-1 Cordoba
This was a tale of two UCAM defenders and two goal-keeping blunders. With 15 minutes to go UCAM's fullback Gongora steps up to take a corner and deceives the Cordoba keeper brilliantly to put the ball straight in the net.
And that looked like being that until the 92nd minute when a tentative header was pushed into his own goal but UCAM's keeper Biel Ribas.
So close to their first win at this level, but still a point in the bag.
The big talking point, though, should be the terrible lack of support for this club. The old Condomina is a big stadium and it was no more than a quarter full at the best.

8th Oct.
Oh dear....they're really on the slide now.
Gatafe 2-0 UCAM Murcia
Still in 8th but with several teams likely to zip past them after tomorrow's games.
EDIT:....not too bad, only only lost one place after Sunday's games. Now 9th.

But another loss, 0-2 at home to Reus sends them tumbling down to 16th!
And only one point above the relegation places.

23rd Oct.
At least they fought back from 0-2 down to get a point - scoring twice in the last 10 minutes. They stay in 16th place.
Cádiz CF 2-2 UCAM Murcia CF
