HE DIDN'T LAST LONG
Cardiff City have sacked Paul Trollope as head coach after less than five months in charge.
The Bluebirds are second from bottom of the Championship after only two wins in 11 matches.
Assistant coach Lennie Lawrence and performance director Ryland Morgans have also left the club.
Former Sheffield United, Leeds United, Crystal Palace and QPR manager Neil Warnock is understood to be among the front-runners to replace Trollope.

RESIGNS TO MOVE TO A LOWER LEAGUE CLUB, STRANGE
League One to the National League is not your average career move.
But Shrewsbury Town manager Micky Mellon is to leave the club to join one of his former clubs Tranmere Rovers.
The Scot, 44, took over at Shrewsbury in May 2014, succeeding caretaker boss Mike Jackson, who then became his number two.
Jackson, also a former Tranmere player, is reportedly to move with Mellon to Prenton Park.
Shrewsbury are currently 22nd in League One, having won just twice in 11 games this season.

DON'T DO IT STEVE, YOU COULD HAVE THE ENGLAND JOB SOON.
Former Birmingham City boss Steve Bruce has held talks with Aston Villa and he remains favourite to fill their managerial vacancy.
Villa sacked Roberto di Matteo on Monday, with the club 19th in the Championship and winless in nine games.
Bruce, 55, has been without a club since leaving Hull City, but was interviewed by the Football Association for the England job in July.
He has won promotion to the Premier League four times as a manager.
Di Matteo's assistant Steve Clarke remains in caretaker charge at Villa, and the club's next match is at home to West Midlands rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers on 15 October.

NOW HERE'S A SHOCK
Nigel Pearson has left his position as Derby County manager by mutual consent after less than five months in charge.
Pearson, 53, was suspended last month pending a club investigation into his "behaviour" following a heated exchange with owner Mel Morris.
The Rams, who lie 20th in the Championship under temporary manager Chris Powell, said "any disciplinary process had now ceased".
😃😅😀😊😜💩😸🐑🎃

YOU JUST COULD NOT MAKE THIS UP
Steve McClaren has returned to Derby County as head coach, after being sacked by them almost 18 months ago. McClarens return for what would be his fourth spell at the club.
McClaren has an excellent relationship with current caretaker manager, Chris Powell, who played for Derby in the late 1990s when McClaren was a first team coach. Powell will work under McClaren.
Fourth time lucky?

BUT!!!!!
Hull boss Mike Phelan clarifies his position at the club. "It's quite simple. It's until the end of the season.
"I understand things are pending at this club so I am happy with that. I'm in charge of all football issues and that's what I needed to be clear."

A BIT OF A SURPRISE
Manager Karl Robinson has left MK Dons "by mutual consent", with the club one point and two places above the League One relegation zone after 15 games.
Robinson, 36, has been in charge at the Dons since May 2010, winning promotion to the Championship in May 2015, but was unable to maintain their second-tier status the following season.
It didn't help his case that AFC Wimbledon are above them in the league.
