NEXT GAME
11.30 Sunday 6th March 2016 MAZARRÓN FB v CD MEDITERRANEO 'A'
This is a top of the table clash with second placed Mediterraneo taking on third placed Mazarron with just the one point separating the sides.
When they met earlier in the season in Cartagena our lads came off second best at the wrong end of a 4-2 result.

ANOTHER 2-4 RESULT BUT THE WRONG WAY
MAZARRON F.B 2 C.D. MEDITERRANEO "A" 4
Mazarron goal scorers:-
Jorge NAVARRO LORENTE with 2
Mazarron came back from going 0-3 down in 12 minutes to bring the score line to 2-3 but a hat trick hero for Mediterraneo made the game safe at 2-4
This result leave Mazarron 6 points of the leagues two joint top sides

NEXT AWAY GAME
12.30 Saturday 12th March 2016 MAR MENOR CF 'A' v MAZARRÓN FB
3rd placed Mazarron FB look to bounce back from last weekends reversal by taking on 11th (and next to bottom) Mar Menor CF 'A' and the only reason that they are not bottom is because that spot is occupied by Mar Menor CF 'B'
We last met Mar Menor CF 'A' in late November when we beat them 9-0 a repeat of that score line would be good.

NEXT HOME GAME
6.30pm (18.30) Saturday 19th March 2016 MAZARRÓN FB v EF ESPERANZA
3rd placed Mazarron take on top of the table Esperanza in perhaps the most important game of the season for our lads so far.
Mazarron are just 6 points off the top spot with game running out so a win this weekend will close the gap on the top two sides.
But it will be a hard task for our Benjamine side as when the two sides met in early December Mazarron were on the wrong end of a 6-0 thumping.
Time for revenge boys.

NEXT GAME
10.15 Saturday 9th April 2016
EF LOS ALCÁZARES versus MAZARRÓN FB
With just four games to go and following last weekends 0-3 loss against the leagues top side Mazarron have now to make up a nine point gap to the top two sides and their next opponents could be a perfect opposition to start reeling in the league leaders. And remember only the top side is garunteed promotion.
EF Los Alcázares are 10th in a 12 team league with only three wins to their name all season and have conceded 90 goals scoring 30 so are on minus 60 goal difference.
The two sides met last December when Mazarron won 7-2

NEXT GAME
ONLY 3 GAMES TO GO
11.00 Sunday 17th April 2016 MAZARRÓN FB v CD MINERVA
Following Mazarrons fine 0-3 away win last weekend they now return home in third place, and in theory they could claim the top spot in this league being 9 points behind the league leaders but with only 3 games left I think that's unlikely. A solid 3rd place seems to be the goal for the remainder of the season.
Mazarron visited 7th placed Minerva last January and came away with a 0-2 away win, same again lads.

NEXT GAME (2 games to go)
Saturday 23rd or Sunday 24th April 2016 MAZARRÓN FB v EMF FUENTE ALAMO
Automatic promotion has now gone for our boys with only two games to go even after a stonking 9-1 win last weekend but 3rd placed Mazarron could still finish with a flourish and Fuente Alamo appears to be an idea opposition for this.
The two sides met in January with our boys coming home with 3 points following a fine 1-4 win.

NEXT GAME
Scheduled for Saturday 30th April or Sunday 1st May 2016 (KO: tbc)
FINAL GAME OF THE SEASON CD MEDITERRANEO 'B' v MAZARRÓN FB
Mazarron FB had a fine home win last weekend and for their next opponents they travel to Cartagena to take on Mediterraneo's second side.
This will be 3rd, Mazarron FB v 7th CD Mediterraneo and looking back to earlier in the season in the corresponding fixture in Mazarron our lads had a good 4-2 home win.
Although promotion is now well beyond Mazarron they are assured of a third place finish and should look back on this season as a resounding success and a great platform to build for the next campaign.
