England will face European champions Spain at the Rico Perez Stadium in Alicante on Friday 13 November.
The fixture will form part of the Three Lions’ preparation for Euro 2016 as the Spanish join an elite list of opposition that Roy Hodgson’s side will take on in the build up to next summer’s tournament.
Spain v England
International match Rico Perez Stadium, Alicante Friday 13 November 2015
Having secured qualification with Saturday’s 6-0 win in San Marino, England are set to welcome France at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday 17 November (details to be confirmed) and Germany in Berlin on Saturday 26 March (kick-off TBC).
The forthcoming meeting with Spain will be the first since the 1-0 win at Wembley in November 2011. England’s last trip to Spain came in 2009, a 2-0 loss in Seville, and November’s game will be the Three Lions’ first visit to Alicante.
Ticket details and kick-off time for the match will be confirmed to England Supporters Travel Club members in due course.

Please note, this fixture is subject to Spain's qualification for Euro 2016.
The Three Lions can clinch top spot in Group E on Tuesday night with a draw against Switzerland at Wembley.

There's hope for us in Murcia yet!
Corvera Airport's cousin in Castellon, Valencia is to receive its first scheduled flight next Tuesday (15th).
Ryanair are moving their Stansted-Valencia flight up the coast.
Why am I posting that news here? Because there is a flight scheduled in on Thursday 12th November and out on Saturday 14th. Just right for the Alicante game and at only £40 return a real bargain!

Whatever happened about a group going to the game in Alicante?

Well, well.....you're all probably going to tell me you knew it already, but I've just found that the Spanish press (Marca et al) call the English team 'Los Pross'! But nowhere does anyone seem to know why!
The obvious explanations crop up - 'professionals', 'prostitutes' (!) - but the press themselves never come into the discussion.

Well....here we go. Who's got the motivation to be top dog?
First impressions....the pitch looks in good nick, but there are lots of empty seats.
Half-time.....0-0.
70 mins and who else....Mario (who?) makes it 1-0 to Spain.
A local lad from Novelda just up the road.
Mario Gaspar - a RIGHT BACK at Villarreal!
83 mins....oh oh Santi Cazooooorla makes it 2-0.
(Suspicion of offside though.)
Final score Spain 2-0 England.
Watching the Cazorla goal afterwards, Walker was so far back he was out of the picture playing Nolito (who laid the ball on for Cazorla) onside. That and Sterling leaving Mario when he scored sums up half the England problem - lack of motivation when they're up against it. The other half of the problem is still the woeful lack of skill in the mid-field.
