JFH TO QPR
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is to become QPR's manager, interim boss Neil Warnock said after Nedum Onuoha sealed victory at Reading.
Warnock said Thursday's match was his last in charge, with Burton Albion boss Hasselbaink his replacement.
"Jimmy will find it tough, but there's no reason why he can't be successful," Warnock said.

WILL THIS MERRY GO ROUND EVER STOP?
Reading have sacked manager Steve Clarke almost a week after a 3-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest.
Clarke, who decided to remain at the Championship club only last month after being linked with the vacant Fulham job, was dismissed following Thursday night's 1-0 home loss to QPR.
Despite a run of one win in the last eight league games, Reading are ninth in the table, a point outside the play-offs.

For someone whose reputation at Chelsea was sky-high, he's gone to the dogs!
Assistant at Liverpool - SACKED. Manager at West Brom - SACKED. Manager at Reading - SACKED.
I guess not many managers have escaped the dreaded 'sacked' word at one time or another. CV's must be littered with them.

I RECKON HE COULD DO BETTER THAN THIS
Nigel Clough is set to return to Burton Albion after Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's move to become QPR boss.
Former Nottingham Forest midfielder Clough managed the Brewers between 1998 and 2009 as he took them to the brink of the Football League for the first time in their history.

YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST
Nigel Clough has been confirmed as the new manager of League One leaders Burton Albion, nearly seven years after he left to take over at Derby County.
The 49-year-old, sacked by Sheffield United in May, succeeds Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, who has taken over at Championship club QPR.
Chairman Ben Robinson said: "We have had a great start to the season. Nigel is the ideal man to continue that. "He has a tremendous track record in football as a player and manager"

THIS IS TURNING OUT TO BE A RIGHT BAG OF MASHINGS
Former Sheffield Wednesday boss Stuart Gray took training at managerless Fulham today, according to PA Sport.
The club is yet to find a replacement for Kit Symons, sacked a month ago.
Fulham initially agreed terms with Steve Clarke, only for the then-Reading manager to pull out.
Birmingham manager Gary Rowett and Rangers boss Mark Warburton have also been sounded out, but now Fulham's chief football officer Mike Rigg belatedly appears close to naming Symons' successor.
Gray has been considered for a role overseeing coaching at the Cottagers or as their new manager.

ARE THE ROYALS IN FOR STUBBS?
Hibernian boss Alan Stubbs insists he has not been contacted by Reading over their managerial vacancy.
"As far as I am concerned it's speculation. I'm firmly focused on my job here and that will never change," said Stubbs, whose Hibs side are currently second in the Scottish Championship.

NOT THE DREADED VOTE OF CONFIDENCE, BUT.........
Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins says "something needs to change" at the club as speculation mounts about manager Garry Monk's future.
Swansea are a point above the Premier League relegation zone having won only one of their last 11 league matches.
Monk, 36, took charge of the Swans' training session on Tuesday.
"We all feel at the club that something needs to change to get things back on a positive note as quickly as possible," said Jenkins.

GOING HOME?
Brian McDermott is set to return to Reading as the Championship club's new manager, BBC Radio Berkshire reports.
The 54-year-old, who led the Royals to promotion to the Premier League in 2012, will replace Steve Clarke, who was sacked last week.
McDermott spent over three years in charge but left in March 2013 with the club in the top-flight relegation zone.
He then spent 13 months in charge at Leeds United before taking up a scouting role with Arsenal last year.
McDermott first joined Reading as chief scout during Alan Pardew's spell in charge in 2000, having previously managed non-league sides Slough and Woking,

WHAT A SHOCK.....NOT
Swansea City statement on Monk
Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins has released a statement following the departure of manager Garry Monk.
“The decision has been made very reluctantly and with a heavy heart," he said.
“To find ourselves in our current situation from where we were in the first week of September, and considering the drop of performance levels and run of results over the last three months, it has brought us to this unfortunate decision today.

HATTERS LOSE THEIR HEAD MAN
Luton Town have parted company with manager John Still by mutual consent after four straight defeats, with the club 17th in League Two.
The 65-year-old took charge in February 2013 with the Hatters in the Conference and led them to promotion back to the Football League a year later.
Academy and development boss Andy Awford has been placed in charge until further notice.
"The decision was a unanimous one by the board," said Luton CEO Gary Sweet.
