Mazarrón now almost safe! 6 points clear of Mar Menor (who lost today) with two games to play.
BUT....on head-to-head they have the advantage with a win and a draw.

NEXT GAME
2 GAMES TO GO
11.30 Sunday 8th May 2016
MAZARRÓN FB v CARTAGENA FC Almost there but a tough nut to crack if they are going to do the job next weekend.
Mazarron FB are looking to retain their place in the league and are so close so the last thing that you want is to come up against the team that's in second place and who beat you 5-2 last December in Cartagena.
But our Cadetes are made of sterner stuff nowadays so could easily Spring a surprise at the weekend.
Depending on other results the boys can look forward to another season in the cadete primera league and with some of our very successful Infantiles moving up an age group they can hope for better times next season.

A MASSIVE, MASSIVE HOME WIN
FINAL SCORE
MAZARRON F.B 3 v CARTAGENA F.C.-UCAM 2
Mazarron FB goal heroes:-
Mohammed KADFI & PEDRO MENDEZ GALERA (2)
The magnitude of this result should not be underestimated, fourth from bottom Mazarron FB beat second in the league Cartagena. This win takes them, for now, out of the relegation picture.
The next game is against Mediterreneo who are just 3 points ahead of them, but it is an away game.

NEXT AND FINAL GAME
7pm (19.00) Friday 20th May 2016 CD MEDITERRANEO v MAZARRÓN FB
Mazarron FB travel to this game safe in the knowledge that for the first time in a long time they are no longer threatened by relegation from this league.
You must remember that this is their debut season at this higher level so survival is something to be happy about, especially when you consider that many of our championship winning Infantiles team will be moving up to the Cadetes next season to reinforce the squad.
For their final match the boys travel to Cartagena to take on Mediterraneo who, like Mazarron just avoided the dreaded trapdoor this season, but with now both sides safe this should be a relaxed affair with Mediterreneo just 3 points ahead of Mazarron.
They last met in January when Mazarron harvested 3 vital home points with a 4-2 win. Our boys come to this game on the back of a 3-2 home win whist our hosts lost 2-0 away.
Let's finish this first season off in style lads with a win.
