The start date for the Segunda B season is confirmed as August 23rd.
All the five Murcian teams (Real Murcia CF SAD, La Hoya Lorca CF, FC Jumilla, UCAM Murcia CF and FC Cartagena) will be in Group 4 with Merida, Villanovense, Melilla, and the twelve Andalusian teams.

Week 1 fixtures will be:
La Hoya Lorca versus Betis B; Real Murcia versus Villanovense; Cadiz versus FC Cartagena; Almeria B versus UCAM Murcia; Jumilla FC versus Mérida.
The final week of the season will be May 15th.

Not sure how it happened, but those were NEXT week's fixtures!
This week was not a good start for the Murcian teams.
UCAM Murcia CF 0 - 0 Sevilla Atlético
CF Villanovense 0 - 2 La Hoya Lorca CF
FC Cartagena 0 - 1 Linares Deportivo
Marbella FC 3 - 1 Real Murcia CF
Sunday: Jumilla 0 - 0 Almeria 'B'

Real Murcia CF 1 - 1 CF Villanovense Cádiz CF 4 - 2 FC Cartagena UD Almería B 0 - 2 UCAM Murcia CF La Hoya Lorca CF 1 - 0 Real Betis Balompié B Mérida AD 0 - 0 FC Jumilla
After just two weeks, La Hoya Lorca are the only team in the division with 2 wins out of 2!
FC Cartagena prop up the table with nul points!

La Hoya 2 points clear at the top. 8th UCAM Murcia 15th Jumilla Real Murcia and Cartagena in the basement!

After 5 games, La Hoya have dropped to 2nd, UCAM Murcia are 4th, Real Murcia 11th and Cartagena 13th.

UCAM and Real Murcia win and move up to 2nd and 8th. Cartagena lose and drop to 16th. La Hoya draw and drop to 4th.

Would you believe it! The only one of our 4 to win this week was Cartagena!
Real Murcia and La Hoya drew and UCAM Murcia went down 0-1.

UCAM Murcia win the local derby against Cartagena and go top of the league. Real Murcia also win and go 4th. La Hoya get thrashed and are now down to 7th. (Remember when they were top?!)

If you're not going to the Mazarrón fiesta on Sunday evening, why not take a trip into town (Murcia) to see the top two teams fight it out for the bragging rights.
Yes....it's UCAM-Murcia CF versus Real Murcia CF at the (Old) Condomina.
KO is at 5 p.m. and there's certain to be a big crowd.
The stadium is in the east of the city, next to the Plaza de Toros. (37.986073, -1.122268)
