St Mirren have appointed former Hibernian boss Alan Stubbs as their new manager on a three-year-deal.
The 46-year-old succeeds Jack Ross, who left for Sunderland after St Mirren's promotion to the Scottish Premiership.
The Paisley club also interviewed Gary Caldwell, Jim McIntyre and Oran Kearney for the role left vacant by Ross.

"John Toshack appointed Tractor Sazi manager in three-year deal."
I thought that was Ipswich for a moment. Apparently it's a club in Iran.

Former Wales boss Chris Coleman has been appointed the new manager of Chinese Super League club Hebei China Fortune.
The Chinese club confirmed Coleman’s appointment on social media on Sunday, with the ex-Sunderland boss succeeding Manuel Pellegrini at the helm.
Pellegrini left China for West Ham, while Coleman was released from his Sunderland contract at the end of the season after the Black Cats dropped into League One.

WELL THAT DIDN’T TAKE TO LONG
LIVERPOOL fans fear Germany will try and replace Joachim Low with Jurgen Klopp after their World Cup nightmare.
Liverpool boss Klopp is set to be linked with the Germany job in the wake of their shambolic World Cup campaign.
Low penned a contract extension shortly before the competition started but, after winning just one game from three, now faces an uncertain future.
Arsene Wenger has been made the early favourite to take the Germany job but Klopp, who has steered Liverpool to three cup finals in as many years, is set to be on their radar as well.
🤣😂😁😀😃😆😄😅🤪🤓😎🤩😜😝😛😋
At least they can’t beat England on penalties this time round🤣

TWO EX FOREST PLAYERS STAND DOWN AS IRELANDS BOSSES
Manager Martin O'Neill and his assistant Roy Keane have parted company with the Republic of Ireland.
The pair took over the reins in 2013 and guided the Republic to the last 16 of the 2016 European Championship.
However, they did not win a competitive game in 2018 and were relegated from Uefa Nations League Group B4.
"I thank Martin, Roy, and the management team for the impact they had," said Football Association of Ireland (FAI) chief John Delaney.

Mick McCarthy agrees €1.2m a year deal to take over as Ireland manager
FAI chief executive John Delaney agrees two-year deal with McCarthy after talks in England
The FAI will confirm over the weekend Mick McCarthy’s appointment as the Republic of Ireland manager after the 59-year-old agreed to accept the vacancy following a meeting with John Delaney today.
The chief executive had promised a swift appointment to fill the vacancy created by the departure of Martin O’Neill on Wednesday and talks were held in England on Friday. The parties have agreed a two-year deal on an annual salary of €1.2 million, with the association holding the option of extending the contract for the 2022 World Cup qualifying campaign.

APPOINTED THEN GIVEN HIS P 45
Mick McCarthy will be unveiled as Republic of Ireland boss on Sunday but he will be replaced by Stephen Kenny after the Euro 2020 finals.
McCarthy has penned a two-year deal while Dundalk manager Kenny will take charge of the Republic's U21 side before moving up to the senior post.
It was expected that McCarthy would succeed Martin O'Neill and start a second spell as Republic boss.
That he will be replaced by Kenny has come as a major surprise.

AND IF THE NEW BOSS FAILS REPLACE HIM WITH THE GUY YOU JUST SACKED
Leonardo Jardim was reappointed as Monaco manager on Friday night just 106 days after being sacked by the club
Jardim was replaced by Thierry Henry in October, but the former Arsenal striker lasted just 20 matches and won only four of them.
As a consequence of Henry's poor results, Jardim returns to a club who sit 19th in the Ligue 1 table and his primary task will be to avoid relegation.

Pearson sacked
Former Derby County and Leicester boss Nigel Pearson has been sacked as manager of Belgian second-division side OH Leuven.
Leuven are, like Leicester, owned by the King Power International Group and Pearson was appointed manager in September 2017.
The Belgian club said in a statement that the 55-year-old’s “extensive know-how and experience” had helped the club, but said they could not look past “the bad results that have put OHL in a difficult position”.
Leuven have won one, drawn one and lost six of their last eight league games.
Pearson managed Leicester from 2011 to 2015, winning promotion to the Premier League and keeping them in the top flight before being replaced by Claudio Ranieri.

KERCHING! SEE HOW THE MONEY ROLLS IN 💶💶💶
Former Leicester and Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri has been appointed Roma manager until the end of the season.
Ranieri, 67, was sacked by Fulham eight days ago after winning three of his 17 games in charge.
But the Roma fan - who managed the club between 2009 and 2011 - has been handed a quick return to management, replacing Eusebio di Francesco.
"I'm delighted to be coming back home," Ranieri said on Friday. "When Roma call you, it's impossible to say no."
Di Francesco was sacked on Wednesday after losing 4-3 on aggregate to Porto in the Champions League last 16.
