Moro's report...
LorcaB 1 Mazarrón fb 2 (Aaron x2)
First match of the second half of the season in Lorca to Lorca B that showed they only had lost 4 matches three of them by the minimum, Totana, Pulpileño and Águilas A. Lorca started with its aim to play by moving the ball from his defense but... we left them no choice but to practice (futbol directo) as said by their trainer. That was due to the merits of our lads who worked immensely and even though the game was not showy they had on the overalls and knew how to be at the height as required for the situation. Having had some better fortune the outcome could have been more comprehensive.
Next match against Mazarrón B, within two weeks this time to rest in the second categories.

WEEKENDING 15/16-2-2014 MAZARRÓN FB 'B' v MAZARRÓN FB 'A'
12.00 Sunday 16th February 2014 Oh dear me, our two Alevins sides play each other, daggers drawn? CURRENT STATS2nd MAZARRON F.B "A" P 14 W 11 D 2 L 1 GF 76 GA 20 Points 35 14 - MAZARRON F.B "B" P 14 W 1 D 0 L 13 GF 19 GA 79 Points 3 Whilst Mazarron FB "A" are one point off the top Mazarron FB "B" are rooted to the bottom of the league. They had mixed fortunes last time out away in Lorca with the 'A' team winning and the 'B' team losing again. EDITHmmmmm? The federation web site has this as the final result MAZARRON F.B "B" 0 - 0 MAZARRON F.B "A" But that was posted prior to the published kickoff time, and with the current form of these two sides a 0-0 draw seems strange. I'll ask Moro at the game today if this reported scoreline is correct. SECOND EDITI thought so, I now never trust the federation site until I've have checked it out. Mazarron FB "A" remain top of the league. ...hmmmm.....I'm not sure about that! I couldn't believe the Águilas 'A' team could only get a 0-0 against Estrella Roja. And, sure enough, it's another Federation b*lls-up. Águilas scored 6 so will go top on goal difference. It's tight in this division. EDIT.............in fact, the Federation haven't even given them the 1 point for a draw! So adding 3 points for a win would see Águilas 'A' go one point clear.

MAZARRÓN FB 'B' v EF TOTANA 'A'
9 GAMES TO GO
A contrasting weekend for our two Alevin sides last weekend, whilst the "A" side ran out 1-11 winners away from home the "B" side went down 0-6 at home. For next weekends games both teams are at home. The "A" team take on Aguilas "A" who are one place and one point above them and sit at the top of the table, if they can only win this one they will go top, it should be a cracker as both teams have score over 100 goals each this season. Meanwhile the "B" side take on 3rd placed Totana "A" who are on the same points as our "A" side so the "B" team could do their mates a big favour if they manage to take any points of Totana"A". The last time these sides met both our Alevin sides lost, the "A" team by 5-2 and the"B" team 9-1. So a chance for revenge? CURRENT STATS:1st A.C.R. E.F. Last weekend they had a hard fought 3-3 home draw against Aguilas who sit one place and one point above Mazarron FB 'A' in second place but both of these teams are just a point or two behind league leaders Totana, so all to play for in the remaining 8 games. When Mazarron FB 'A' played next opponents Pulpileno 'B' it resulted in a home win with a score line of 12-1. Home advantage to Pulpileno could help this time but on current form......... Pulpileno come this fixture on the back of a 6-1 away defeat, so it's a chance for our lads to get three vital points to push them on toward the league tittle.
Now Mazarron FB 'B'. They played their game a week early and, well done lads, beat Aguilas 'B' 5-1 and in doing so move off the bottom of the league being replaced by Bala Azul who were beaten 0-16 by Totana on Friday night.

MAZARRÓN FB 'A' v LORCA CFB 'D'

7 GAMES TO GO
Let's look at Mazarron 'A' first. Last weekend they had a stonking 1-4 away win at Pulpileno which cemented their third place in the division and just 2 points behind the top team. Lorca 'D' on the other hand played Estrella Roja last Saturday but the federation have yet to publish the result!! This weekends game against Lorca 'D' is the return game of the match played in Lorca and that ended in a 1-5 win for Mazarron 'A'. FINAL SCORE Another 3 points un the bag for the 'A' side, now we have to wait to see how the other top teams do this weekend.

A top, top team representing Mazarron FB. Well done lads.ATL. PULPILEÑO 'A' v MAZARRÓN FB 'B'
11.00 Sunday 30th March 2014 Our second team are not having such a good season as the 'A' side. Mazarron 'B' played their game a week early and it paid dividends in a 5-1 home win against Aguilas, only their second win of the season. But this weeks opponents could be a different story as 4th placed Pulpileno are playing well and gained a 0-2 away win against Lorca 'B' last weekend. Last time these two sides clashed it was a 1-7 victory for Pulpileno. The Mazarron 'B' team could do their fellow team mate in the 'A' side a favour by holding or beating Pulpileno as they are behind the 'A' team. FINAL SCORE

6 GAMES TO GO
3rd placed Mazarron FB 'A' take on 9th placed Estrella Roja CF next weekend in a game that has great importance with only 6 games to go and Mazarron are currently only 4 points behind top team Totana. Following last weekends drumming of Lorca 6-1 the Mazarron boys tails must be up for this game. The last time these sides met it was a close game with Mazarron FB running out 3-2 winners so the need to get the job done in the away leg and will have to be on the top of their game. MAZARRÓN FB 'B' v LORCA CFB 'B' 12noon (12.00) SUNDAY 6th APRIL 2014 Mazarron FB 'B' have home advantage over Lorca CFB 'B' next weekend and need every edge that they can gain as the last time they met it was a 5-0 win for Lorca. Now the question is.....do we believe the 0-0? It might be right for once - no scorers shown. But you never know with the Fed's website.

5 Games to go MAZARRON FB 'A'EDITAlthough the federation initially posted that Mazarron FB 'A' fought out a 0-0 away draw against Estrella Roja they have now amended the score line to a 2-3 win for Mazarron FB as Les has posted below. We will keep an eye on this and will up date this thread as soon as we get further information, but it will still be nip and tuck all the way to the end of the season. Meanwhile San Cristobal were stuffed 5-2 away by Lorca 'D' on Sunday and currently sit in 5th place in the table but a long, long way behind Mazarron FB. These sides met last in December when Mazarron FB beat their visitors with a thumping 6-1 win. MAZARRON FB 'B'Last weekend Mazarron 'B' took on Lorca 'B' at home and went down to a resounding 0-7 loss and look to get their season back on tracks when they welcome Estrella Roja to their home ground. Estrella Roja were apparently beaten by Mazarron FB 'A' 2-3 last weekend, so lets see what the 'B' side can do. These sides last met in December when it was an easy 7-0 win for Estrella Roja. I wondered if last week's 0-0 for the 'A' Team was right! The Fed are now showing it as a 3-2 win for Mazarrón! But no scorers are listed.
And they haven't yet corrected the league table. The extra 2 points would put our lads level with Totana in top spot. I'm not sure if the decider is goal-difference or head-to-head. If goals, Totana are slightly ahead. But we beat them 5-2 at our place and the return fixture is in a few weeks - it could decide the league title!
The Fed really are a bunch of amateurs aren't they?
