MAZARRÓN FC v EFB PINATAR
To be played at our home ground, the municipal stadium.
After the break Mazarron juveniles return to action against top of the table Pinatar, they might be top but our boys are just 5 points behind.
When the sides met in Pinatar last October it finished with honours equal at 1-1. Can the lads go one set better and close the gap on the league leaders?

FINAL SCORE
MAZARRÓN FC 3 v EFB PINATAR 0
This was a game where both teams fought a first half midfield battle with Mazarron gaining the upper hand and as half time approached it was Andreo who collected a through ball and slotted it under the on rushing goal keeper.
But in the second half Mazarron took complete control of the game with only desperate defending by Pinatar keeping the score down.
The second goal came after a Mazarron player was syinically hacked down when through on goal, you could clearly hear the crunch as the last line Pinatar defender scythed the local boy down. He was only punished with a yellow card but Perico made up for it by nodding the ball passed a stranded Pinatar goal minder.
The third goal was a peach, it started when a Mazarron defender robbed a Pinatar striker next to the home sides corner flag. There followed a flowing move involving 5 Mazarron player with the final ball passed to Andreo who was pushed wide and almost to the touch line and it was from there at an impossible acute angle he drilled the ball home into the far corner of the net, what a goal.

ANOTHER MAZARRON YOUNGSTER STOLE
If you haven't hear much of our prolific juvenile player called Domingo recently it's because Guadalupe have enticed him away from us to play for them, a team playing at a higher level than Mazarron. A pity as he was a genuine diamond of a player who score numerous goals at all levels in the junior ranks and had just started turning out for the senior team.
Meanwhile Mazarron FC have recruited a lad called, and excuse me if I don't quite get this right, Santiago Colombia, from Cartagena. He played today and fitted in well. He will also be available for the senior side.

NEXT GAME
Los Garres v Mazarron FC
kickoff 5pm (17.00) Sunday 22nd March
Can 6th placed Mazarron carry on their fine initial season in this higher division against 13th placed Los Garres? One would hope so.
It was a 3-1 home win for our lads last November and with the fine batch of youngsters that Perete has at his disposal I can't see why they can't close that 5 point gap to the top side.
They could be missing one or two players as the clubs senior side kickoff at almost the same time as these juveniles, but at the end of the day isn't that why we invest in juvenile/junior side to bring through home grown talent to play for Mazarron FC?

NEXT GAME
MAZARRÓN FC vs CIUDAD JARDIN CF 5.30pm (17.30) Saturday 28th March 2015 Following the strange defeat at Los Garres with a score line of 4-1 Mazarron FC drop to 7th place in the league, but considering that they were only promoted at the end of last season that in itself is pretty respectable, but can they do better? And where better to start than at home this weekend against 4th placed Ciudad Jardin CF?
These two sides first clashed this season in early November when our lads took a 3-0 beating away from home, so this will give them an opportunity to even things out.
I would imagine that this game will be played on Saturday at our home ground which will allow members of this juvenile squad to become available for selection the next day when the senior side plays.

FINAL SCORE
MAZARRÓN FC 1 vs CIUDAD JARDIN CF 1
This was a case of 2 points dropped, or stolen, rather than one point gained. Ciudad Jardin only had one shot on target in the first half which was easily dealt with by the excellent Pablo in goal whilst the away teams net minder was at full stretch.
The inevitable Mazarron goal came from a corner headed home by Steven.
In one of the few adventures into the Mazarron half somehow Ciudad Jardin scrambled the ball home with 8 minutes to go.
Mazarron were denied by the officials at the death when Steven beat the on rushing goal keeper at the edge of the box then floated over a beautiful cross which was handled inside the goal by a defender. Amazingly neither a goal, red card or even a penalty was awarded. The ball had crossed the line and the youngsters of Mazarron were robbed of their deserved win.
I feel somewhat sorry for the ref following his castration which he must have undergone recently, for that was the only reason he didn't send off two away defenders for blatant last man fouls and not giving a clear cut goal. The man had no testículos.

NEXT GAME
7.30pm Sunday 19th April 2015 CHURRA EDMF vs MAZARRÓN FC
Mazarron take on top team Churra EDMF away in their next outing.
Last time out Churra were surprisingly beaten 2-0 away at 10th placed Torre Pacheco and Mazarron FC took all three points in November last year when we beat them 2-1 at our place.
Meanwhile Mazarron were robbed of two points by a diabolical refereeing decision by not giving a goal to our boys after the ball had clearly crossed the line, robbed. That game finished 1-1.

NEXT FIXTURE MAZARRÓN FC vs EL PALMAR CF 12 noon (12.00) Sunday 26th April 2015
A chance for our primera juvenile side to get back on the road following a 1-1 draw two weeks ago and a 2-0 defeat last Sunday. And there could not be a better opposition to do that than El Palmar.
El Palmar sit next to bottom of the league with just 6 wins and 18 points to their name from the 27 games that they have played. They came unstuck against Mazarron when we visited them in November when our lads came away with a 1-2 win.
Another victory against El Palmar, this time at home, will consolidate Mazarrons position near the top of the league in this their first season at this level.

NEXT FIXTURE
6.30pm (18.30) SATURDAY 2nd MAY 2015 CD MEDITERRANEO vs MAZARRÓN FC
With 6 games to go Mazarron FC will, I'm sure, be going all out to revenge one of only two home defeats this season next weekend when they are away at Mediterraneo. Last November the Cartagena side came o Mazarron and left with a 1-2 win.
7th placed Mazarron come to this fixture on the back of a fine 5-0 home win against El Palmar, and it should have been more, whilst Mediterraneo, who currently reside in 12th place, suffered a 3-0 reversal in Torre Pacheco.
Mazarron FC are currently 9 points behind the league leaders but must be applauded for a great first season at this higher level.

NEXT GAMES
12.00 Sunday 10th May 2015 MAZARRÓN FC vs EF SANTA ANA
7th place Mazarron FC return home for this game having suffered a heavy defeat last weekend. Santa Ana, who sit in 3rd place, took the 3 points in December when the two sides last met.
With 5 games to go Mazarron FC are still just 9 points of the league leaders so there's all to play for for our senior juvenile side.
