Looks likely that Mazarron FC will be running two juvenile teams this season.
After gaining promotion last season, the Mazarron 'A' juvenile side will be again coached by Perete whilst the Mazarron 'B' side will be coached by Jose, the club president.
Jose gained his coaching badge to coach at this level a couple of seasons ago and wants to try his hand at running a juvenile side.
The allocated leagues will be published in due time by the Murcian federation.

Perico is awaiting a MRI scan on his problematic knee injury and we await results.

Velly interesting................
It looks like FOUR teams were promoted from our Juvenil group last season. Aguilas (3rd) are in this group and, as well as Javali-Nuevo who won last year's group, Vistalegre Murcia (4th) are also in the Grupo Segundo.

PRE SEASON GAME
Mazarron FC v Cartagena FC
A good run out for the newly assembled juvenile side against a well drilled opposition.
Cartagena left it very late to score the only goal of the game after a Mazarron FC defensive clearance which fell very kindly to a Cartagena forward who hammered it into the net.
Many of the Cadetes, who have now moved up to the Juvenile side, were on display and performed well.

MAZARRON FC TO RUN TWO JUVENILE TEAMS FOR THE 2014-15 SEASON Jose confirmed with me today that Mazarron FC will be running two juvenile teams this season and that he will be the coach/manager of this second team with Perete continuing in his excellent role as the senior juvenile coach. This will not detract from Jose's role as club president. He has our old central defender Diego as his right hand man for the team administration role with Javi running senior team's training and coaching with assistance of two former players. Our senior juvenile team promoted last season will appear in the PRIMERA LEAGUE group PRIMERO The new second team will play in the SEGUNDA LEAGUE. 'Teams to groups' allocation have yet to be announced by the FFRM, Murcian federation. Jose informs me that the rules are 11 named players of the senior juvenile squad will be able to also play for the Mazarron FC senior first team but not for the second juvenile team, but the remainder of the senior juvenile squad can. Players from the second juvenile squad can play for the senior juvenile team and of course cadetes will be able to play for the second juvenile squad. So there will be plenty of flexibility in our youth set up.

To differentiate between our two juvenile teams they will be refered to in reports/information as Primera and Segunda.
The Primera side being coached by Perete a the Segunda coached by Jose.
I hope this will help you identify the respective sides.

JUVENILES CRUISE TO AN OPENING DAY WIN
MAZARRON FC JUVENILES (PRIMERA) 4 v ACR EF AGUILAS 0
Mazarron FC juveniles started their season in their new league, following promotion, with a thumping 4-0 over near neighbours Aguilas. With Rubens, the juvenile keeper, having only one save to make all match the flow of play was a one way street in the direction of the Aguilas goal. This years juvenile team contained many of the lads from last seasons team, players who have moved up from the cadetes and new recruits joining Mazarron now that they play in this higher division. and it was two of the afore mentioned new recruits that gave Mazarron FC a 2-0 lead. Both those goals were scored by a new lad joining us from Bala Azul and goes by the name of Pedro following passages of great passing football finishing with Domingo (ex Mazarron FB cadetes) supplying the final pinpoint pass for Pedro to finish off the move, twice. The second half continued in the same vein but with Domingo now withdrawn from the action it became the Gines show. This young man, who has also played for the senior team, playing on the right wing repeatedly destroyed the Aguilas defence but his goal came from the opposite wing finding Gines on the edge of the box and with one touch controlled the ball and buried it past the stranded keeper. The fourth came from excellent midfield football putting the Mazarron striker one on one with the keeper who he lobbed. But the keeper got his fingers to it before it was cleared straight to Fran, the Mazarron skipper then almost burst the net with a pile driver from the edge of the box. In all honesty it could have been so many more but 4-0 win on the opening day will do. Final score. MAZARRON FC JUVENILES (PRIMERA) 4 v ACR EF AGUILAS 0 Note: There were 3 official yesterday instead of the usual lone referee who all had a good game.

NEXT GAME
EF LOS ALCAZARES v MAZARRÓN FC
Sat 27th/Sun 28th September 2014
For the second week on the trot our senior juvenile side are on the road, this time it's off to Los Alcazares. Following last weekends defeat 4-3 away to Torre Pacheco Mazarron drop down to 7th place and their task at the weekend could not be harder that to take on the new current league leaders who beat El Palmar 1-4 away on Saturday. This is a massive turn around for Los Alcazares who finished 18th and bottom at the league last season some 13 points adrift and failed to turn up for their last game which was conceded as a 3-0 loss.
